Northeast Data Vault's Back-up offering protects multi-platform environments with one integrated solution.

DETAILS

The backup platform for Northeast Data Vault's SureBack service is a StorageTek® L700 tape library, driven by VERITAS NetBackup™ software. The StorageTek L700 is a robotic system expandable to a capacity of 135.6 terabytes across 678 tape cartridges, with up to 20 separately operable drives. The backup system is front-ended by a dedicated Sun server, and connected to customer machines via a dedicated 100Mbps backup network.

VERITAS NetBackup™ software is installed on customer systems as well as on the Sun front-end.
